Mazen is a PhD student in Molecular and Cellular Physiology at Stanford University. His research focuses on the neurocircuitry changes underlying different disease states. He is interested in how healthcare and biotechnology can be improved to maximize their positive impact. In particular, he believes that leveraging product and design thinking principles along with optimal business and investment practices can open up the biomedical space to new innovations. He received his BS in Biopsychology from Tufts University with a minor in Mathematics.
